Matt is an LGBTQI friendly Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar) who works with both adults and adolescents (Book Online)
Matt is curious, passionate, and patient. He believes in collaboration when setting out and attaining goals in therapy, and he works hard to tailor an approach that is holistic, evidence based, and unique to the needs of every client. Matt aims to create a space in which each individual is free to explore, without judgement, their thoughts, feelings, values, choices, and experiences. His approach to therapy is very humanistic, person centred, and grounded in mindfulness.
Matt’s areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, stress, LGBTQ issues, work and university difficulties, addiction, phobias, bipolar, borderline personality, schizophrenia, and adjustment to challenging life circumstances. Matt works with adults and adolescents within an interpersonal and object relations framework and uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence based therapies where appropriate.
