Charlie Ryan
Charlie is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who approaches therapy with an appreciation for how important it is to feel understood. Charlie recognises that therapy can feel vulnerable, and he invites a pace and depth that honours each person’s readiness for exploration. He acknowledges that therapy can be challenging andbelieves that genuine connection and empathy are central to meaningful change.

Charlie has a deep commitment to helping you navigate life’s complexities and achieve therapeutic goals. He recognises that each person’s identity and life context shapes how they relate to themselves and others, and he welcomes clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds. He is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. His clinical interests include stress and burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and interpersonal and relationship difficulties.

In therapy, Charlie adapts his approach to support his clients, integrating a range of
evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
